About Jamie
James R. Wigginton, a native Kentuckian, was born into a touring musical family
(a sort of hillbilly Partridge family, he says). With over a decade of vocal
coaching behind him, two performance degrees from Belmont University, and a
lifetime of stage experience, Jamie is nationally known as a performance coach
and vocal pedagogue.
While Jamie's time is mostly spent working with vocalists--from top-40 country
singers to divas from the San Francisco Lyric Opera--he has also made numerous
appearances as a concert pianist with orchestras and ballet companies. In
addition to working with singers in his studio on Music Row, Jamie spends
a great deal
of time producing and advising with some of the world's greatest producers--Michael
Garvin (several platinum albums, wrote/produced "Waiting for Tonight"-recorded
by Jennifer Lopez) and Joe Hogue (Grammy winner and multi-Dove nominee).
He was employed as musical director for a cruise line and has served as Music
Minister/Worship leader in churches for eleven years.
With his combined knowledge, experience and instinct for potential, Jamie is
best known for his lightning-fast ability to help performers move their audiences
and achieve their dreams.
